My best tip for a desk is... A door. Easily found on construction sites. Tressles bought cheaply at a hardware store. I'd say that you could have mine but I don't reckon it classes as luggage on a bus, plane or train.
I'm going for a desk from ebay for 1euro or less, I have bid on a lamp today, but I don't know the protocol. Do you leave the bidding til the last minute like in house autions, or do you show your hand early?
